HSET Global was founded by Managing Director, Andrew Clayton, a qualified Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) professional with over 24 years in senior level and executive management positions and experience working in the resources, energy, infrastructure, marine and public utilities sectors. Andrew has delivered a wide range of highly successful projects and mega projects as part of the Owners Team as well as the Engineer and Constructer in:

• APAC (Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, China, PNG and New Caledonia)
• Africa (South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, DRC, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Namibia and Mali), and
• The Americas (USA, Canada, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina).

Andrew’s achievements working with all organisational levels of business is highly regarded and has been recognised through numerous global industry awards and major project achievements.

David has over 25 years executive management experience in the mining, oil & gas, infrastructure and services sectors operating at the operational, project management and executive director level.

For the past 14 years David led the regulatory approvals work for Chevron on the giant Gorgon & Wheatstone LNG Projects, Great Australian Bight Exploration and the Thevenard Retirement Project. He has worked as a political staffer in State Government, and in marketing and civil construction in South East Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

He is highly experienced in all aspects of government and stakeholder engagement, communications, negotiation, project delivery and managing complex external affairs issues.

He is focussed on delivering outcomes for clients with an emphasis on realistic and practical solutions.

Justin is a Lawyer with over 25 years’ experience practicing at partner level and then as a barrister at the NSW Bar specialising in construction and engineering law.

Justin has over 10 years’ experience working as a site-based Contract Manager in the oil and gas and mining sectors for projects ranging in size up to US$50 Billion. He is experienced in all aspects of project commercial management including the tendering process, drafting and negotiating contracts, developing internal procedures and precedents, training contract administration teams and dispute resolution.

He is highly experienced in all aspects of claims management including negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation. Being a lateral thinker, he is highly competent in finding solutions to difficult problems. He is particularly interested in assisting Clients with a “cold eyes” review of their contract management structures, procedures and identifying areas of improvement for their businesses.
